About Me

I became an Acupuncture Physician in 2012. I decided to study this type of medicine after my first experience with it. I had such a huge improvement in my health after 2 treatments that I told myself "I need to learn this so that I can share with everyone."
I am passionate about helping others experience the same, or better, improvement than I did! I followed my passion and I have been practicing for over 10 years. My passion continues to grow with every patient I treat. I have treated the following conditions with great success: chronic muscular pains, digestive disorders, migraines, menstrual imbalances, menopause, and stress. I am also very passionate about educating my patients about acupuncture and how they can continue to improve their overall health in a more holistic way.
I want to share a little bit more about myself and my second passion – running! I have been a weekend warrior runner for about 15 years. I can proudly say, that since I learned about acupuncture, I have no knee issues or chronic pain! I will sometimes needle myself after a workout to help reduce the inflammation that comes with the sport. Consistent acupuncture sessions, with proper nutrition, has kept my body in balance so that I can run pain free! This also helps me to better understand my patients' chronic muscle pains with more detail, thus customizing their treatments with greater effectiveness.
In these past few years, I have been working with Veterans and the elderly. In working with them, I have come to understand chronic pain in in depth and been successful in diminishing their pain so they can return to their daily living activities as well as their outdoor hobbies. I have also increased my knowledge of how to manage prescription medications and help them have their doses reduced or even removed all together. This experience is not only applicable to Veteran's and elderly, but to everyone. With my younger patients, I use this knowledge to help them find proper balance so they can prevent issues that come with age.
